<p>English–French Bilingual Telephone Sales Representative</p><p>Employer: Uplimark LLC, United States</p><p>Location: Remote, based in Kenya</p><p>Employment: Long-term full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday</p><p>Compensation: Fixed gross base salary of KES 45,000 per month plus a sales-based bonus of 0.5% of sales attributed to the employee. Sales attribution, the sales-value calculation basis, treatment of cancellations/returns and the payment schedule will be defined in writing before employment starts</p><p>Vacancies: 1</p><p>The role</p><p>We supply industrial coding and marking machines, spare parts, inks and other consumables. All three product categories are priorities. Your ongoing role is outbound B2B telephone sales and follow-up with assigned distributors across Africa, supported by company lead lists, product information and approved scripts.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>• Personally make English and French calls during prospects' local business hours; find purchasing and technical contacts and identify genuine requirements.</p><p>• Collect brand/model, part or ink code, quantity, delivery country and next-step information. Refer quotations, compatibility and technical questions to the product team.</p><p>• Use assigned CloudTalk and HubSpot accounts, keep accurate customer records, send approved follow-up emails and complete callbacks.</p><p>• Record every call attempt and its actual outcome, including unanswered calls, busy lines and wrong numbers. Respect do-not-contact requests.</p><p>Required qualifications</p><p>• Completed bachelor's degree from a recognised university in Kenya. Recent graduates welcome. Customer service, telephone sales or client-follow-up experience, including internships, is an advantage.</p><p>• Strong spoken and written English AND French, sufficient for independent customer conversations and follow-up emails. Both languages will be tested; certificates alone are not sufficient.</p><p>• Based in Kenya and available for a fixed full-time schedule. Applicants nationwide are welcome; relocation to Nairobi is not required.</p><p>• Own computer available exclusively for work during scheduled hours, working headset with microphone, reliable main internet connection and a backup connection.</p><p>• A dedicated quiet workspace with a desk and chair, available exclusively during working hours, with a door or effective separation from noise and interruptions.</p><p>• A workable power-outage plan, such as a functioning laptop battery and backup internet/router power. Explain how you will report and recover from interruptions.</p><p>• Ability to learn CloudTalk, HubSpot, spreadsheets and approved AI-assisted workflows. CloudTalk experience is not required; self-study guidance and half-day onboarding are provided.</p><p>How performance is assessed</p><p>Expectations are explained before starting. Assessment covers punctuality and attendance, genuine calling activity, English/French communication quality, accurate records and timely follow-up. Report at the start of the agreed shift, provide a daily activity summary and promptly report technical problems. Normal agreed breaks are included in scheduling.</p><p>We reconcile CloudTalk call records with HubSpot entries and email follow-ups, and review samples of available call recordings under the applicable recording arrangements explained to employees. No continuous webcam monitoring or whole-home inspection is required. Fabricated calls, contacts or customer requirements are unacceptable. Activity targets are set after observing the initial working days and the assigned lead list; unanswered calls or low connection rates alone do not mean poor performance.</p><p>Selection and training</p><p>CV and qualification screening is followed by a short English/French interview and equipment/workspace check. Only shortlisted candidates invited by the company take a 30-minute practical assessment, once per person. Up to three qualified candidates will be invited in the initial round. The assessment is paid USD 5 on completion regardless of the hiring outcome. Completion requirements and payment method are agreed beforehand; customer non-response is not a failure to complete the test.</p><p>The assessment covers audio/setup, bilingual role-play, approved supervised calls and accurate notes. It must be taken from the proposed workspace using the actual work computer and connection. Any visual workspace check is limited to the work area with the applicant's consent. The selected employee receives half-day onboarding; first-week reviews focus on attendance, quality, truthful records and follow-through. Applicants do not pay recruitment fees or buy CloudTalk subscriptions.</p><p>Future US work opportunities</p><p>Employees with consistently strong performance may be considered for a future transfer to a role in the United States, subject to business needs, an available position and the required immigration/work authorisation approvals. Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Completed bachelor’s degree from a recognised Kenyan university; recent graduates welcome. Strong spoken and written English AND French, tested in interview. Own suitable computer and headset, quiet dedicated workspace, reliable internet plus backup and power-outage plan. Available for full-time 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday. Ability to learn CloudTalk, HubSpot and spreadsheets; company training provided.
