Afya Dynamics is looking for an experience Software Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving the acquisition and growth of healthcare clients by promoting and selling the company’s software solutions to hospitals, clinics, medical centres and other healthcare organizations. The role combines B2B software sales, lead generation, product demonstrations, relationship management and customer engagement. The successful candidate will also serve as an important first point of contact for prospective and existing customers by answering incoming calls, responding to WhatsApp inquiries, qualifying leads, providing product information and ensuring inquiries are followed through to resolution or conversion

Responsibilities

• Software Sales & Business Development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Sell the company’s healthcare software solutions to hospitals, clinics, medical centres and other relevant organizations.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, referrals, networking and physical client visits where appropriate.
• Engage healthcare decision-makers, including facility owners, administrators, finance teams, operations managers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Understand prospective clients' operational challenges and position the software according to their needs.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and other sales documentation.
• Negotiate commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
• Consistently work toward agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and account expansion.
• Lead Qualification & Sales Pipeline Management
• Respond promptly to leads generated through the website, social media, referrals, campaigns, WhatsApp and telephone inquiries.
• Qualify prospects based on their requirements, organization size, current systems, decision-making process, budget and implementation timeline.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects and opportunities within the company's CRM or sales tracking system.
• Categorize leads according to their stage in the sales pipeline.
• Maintain structured follow-up schedules to prevent potential opportunities from being lost.
• Provide regular pipeline forecasts and sales activity reports.
• Track lead-to-demo, demo-to-proposal and proposal-to-sale conversions.
• Customer Calls & WhatsApp Engagement
• Answer incoming customer and prospect calls professionally and courteously.
• Respond to WhatsApp inquiries within the company's expected response times.
• Understand the purpose of each inquiry before providing information or directing the customer appropriately.
• Explain software products, features, pricing and processes in clear, non-technical language.
• Qualify sales inquiries received through WhatsApp and telephone.
• Schedule demonstrations, meetings and follow-up calls with qualified prospects.
• Maintain professional written communication across WhatsApp and other messaging channels.
• Follow up with prospects who have requested additional information, quotations or demonstrations.
• Escalate technical or support-related matters to the appropriate team while maintaining ownership of customer communication.
• Maintain proper records of important customer conversations and agreed next actions.
• Product Demonstrations & Consultative Selling
• Develop a strong working understanding of the healthcare software and its functionality.
• Conduct virtual and physical product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Tailor demonstrations to the operational needs and challenges identified during discovery.
• Translate technical software functionality into practical business benefits.
• Answer product-related questions accurately and coordinate with technical teams where additional clarification is required.
• Understand competitor offerings and clearly communicate the company's value proposition.
• Gather feedback from prospects and communicate recurring requirements to management and product teams.
• Client Relationship Management
• Develop long-term relationships with prospective and existing healthcare clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales and onboarding journey.
• Ensure customers have a smooth transition from sales to implementation or support teams.
• Conduct appropriate post-sale follow-ups to establish customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for renewals, upgrades, additional modules or services.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and coordinate internal resolution where necessary.
• Sales Reporting & Market Intelligence
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering leads, calls, meetings, demonstrations, proposals and closed business.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales notes.
• Monitor sales targets and identify corrective actions where performance is below expectations.
• Gather information on healthcare technology trends, customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Share customer feedback with management, product, marketing and technical teams.
• Provide reasonable sales forecasts based on active opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing, a related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of B2B sales/business development experience, preferably involving software, SaaS, technology or healthcare solutions.
• Demonstrated experience managing a sales pipeline and working toward revenue targets.
• Experience conducting product presentations or demonstrations.
• Experience communicating with customers through telephone, WhatsApp, email and face-to-face meetings.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales reporting is desirable
