Steri Tours Travel is seeking an ambitious, highly organized, and client-centric Travel Consultant to drive business growth and deliver world-class travel experiences. This role blends proactive corporate and leisure sales, consultative itinerary curation, and tight cross-functional operational ownership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hunting down new client accounts, building a robust pipeline, and maximizing the lifetime value of existing portfolios through strategic cross-selling. Beyond sales generation, the consultant will act as a critical operational link—conducting technical site and destination surveys, ensuring flawless service handovers to ground logistics crews, and partnering tightly with the Finance team to enforce precise billing cycles and aggressive debt collection policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that client bookings are accurate and booked on time.
• Ensure that the service offering is profitable by checking on the costings.
• To plan details for travel including transportation, accommodation and airlines.
• Work with clients to determine their traveling needs
• Guide clients on the available styles of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodation.
• Book transportation and hotel reservations on behalf of clients.
• Book air tickets for clients
• Support clients with Visa applications
• Resolve travel issues, complaints, and refunds
• Maintain client information and financial records
• Hotel & Hospitality Partnerships

Qualifications

• PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND
• Educational Background: Holds a Diploma in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Travel Agency Operations, or a closely related commercial field.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of progressive, verifiable experience in a direct field sales, ticketing, or destination management role with a strong history of meeting personal monthly targets.
• Industry Experience Screening Rule: * Strict Preference: Candidates must NOT have previously worked inside a pest control, fumigation, or commercial cleaning company.
• Rationale: We are specifically looking to leverage premium hospitality and travel sector standards—including corporate relationship etiquette, precise logistical scheduling, and consultative client care. We will fully train you on our specialized corporate facility service offerings from scratch.

• A. Consultative Sales & Funnel Disciplines
• Diagnostic Pitching: Ability to move away from rigid transactional booking and focus on consultative listening—diagnosing corporate facility or travel pain points and building comprehensive packages as a solution.
• Pipeline Management: High proficiency in mapping out a clear sales funnel (from initial cold call to technical site survey, quotation, negotiation, and final close), ensuring clear weekly dashboard logs.
• Objection Management: Strong capability to navigate price resistance, protect company margins, and confidently communicate value when dealing with corporate procurement officers.
• B. Financial Assertiveness & Technical Estimation
• Financial Gatekeeping: The unique capability to maintain an enthusiastic, polite client relationship while remaining highly firm, assertive, and professional when demanding overdue payments or enforcing strict credit limits.
• Costing Awareness: Comfort translating spatial dimensions, flight classes, and hotel group rates into clear costing margins to ensure back-office quotation accuracy.
• C. Behavioral Fit
• High Radical Autonomy: A self-starting field agent who maps out their own weekly itineraries, tracks down corporate decision-makers, and drives results independently with minimal oversight.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Gifted at translating client promises into flawless operational handovers for technicians or tour drivers and transparent payment metrics for accountants.
