Yeyuka Travels is looking for an Accountant who doesn't just "process numbers" but owns them. We are a fast-paced, high-growth travel firm where precision is our currency. We need a "finer character"—someone who, possesses an uncompromising eye for detail. We need an independent thinker who can navigate the complexities of the travel industry with integrity and a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Meticulous Expense Management: Take full ownership of the company’s expense tracking, ensuring zero leakage and 100% documentation accuracy (our primary pain point).
• AP & AR Mastery: Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with rigorous follow-up to ensure healthy cash flow and vendor relationships.
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Expert application of Debit/Credit knowledge to maintain a clean, audit-ready General Ledger.
• Travel Industry Accounting: Manage specific industry complexities, including ticketing reconciliations, tour commissions, and multi-currency transactions.
• Cross-Functional Support: Act as a flexible team player, ready to execute tasks delegated by any Director with speed and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly status reports that provide the Logistics & Finance team with actionable data.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–4years progressive accounting experience (Corporate background required; Travel industry preferred).
• Industry Background: Must have experience in a corporate setting; Travel Industry experience is a significant advantage.
• Tech Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero or industry-specific ERPs).
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting ( CPA is a boost)
